MISSION STATEMENT
Have fun, eating and socializing with friends, while creating a life-changing opportunity for a deserving young person.

HOW TO GET STARTED
Invite three friends to lunch, then ask them to invite three friends to the next lunch. Decide the interval between lunches, time, place and annual dues. All dues are tax-deductible and are dedicated to the college scholarship fund. Contact your local middle school, junior high school or church to find your prospective young person.

WHAT IS THE LUNCH GROUP?
The Lunch Group, Inc. is a non-profit organization of at least ten members who meet regularly for lunch, or breakfast, for professional or friendship reasons. A Group is formed to choose a student in Middle School and become his or her “guardian angel” through High School and graduation. The money donated each year by The Lunch Group is placed in the bank, then given as a scholarship to the student upon enrollment in college. The sponsoring group may then continue with annual support or choose another student and start over again. There is no requirement to provide complete funds for a four-year institution; each Group is free to provide as much as desired by the Group.

CHOOSING THE STUDENT
A student may be chosen through an established network of school counselors,
or your Group may have a network of its own.

JOINING THE NON-PROFIT STATUS
The Lunch Group, Inc. is a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation. Any Group formed for the purpose of scholarship support may become a subsidiary of The Lunch Group, Inc., thereby eliminating the need for a separate incorporation and non-profit tax status.

OUR FINANCIAL ACCOUNT
Any Group joining the parent club, The Lunch Group, Inc., in its non-profit status has the option of signing up for a sub-account in a nation-wide investment firm. Each sub-account will be strictly under the control of each individual Group.
